January 18, 2016

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) awarded Eptisa a new three-month contract in Azerbaijan named "Integrating climate change risks into water and flood management by vulnerable mountainous communities in the greater Caucasus Region".

The main objective of this project is to install a meteorological gauging station in the upper area and a hydro-meteorological gauging station in the lower area in order to prevent flooding and its effects in the mountainous communities in the Caucasus Region.

To do this, Eptisa has provided detailed specifications, plans and drawings where needed, and identify the specific devices required, as well as the essential performance characteristics and identifying the works that will be subcontracted.

It also supervised the installation of the equipment, providing ancillary civil works details that have been constructed by the UNDP prior to installation. Eptisa carries out site test and equipment, and will supply all manual, software and training materials required for the operation and maintenance of the equipment supplied.

Once all the equipment is installed, Eptisa will assist the client and his representatives in the commissioning of all equipment supplied and will provide technical support for one year after installation and final commissioning.
