Eptisa Romania will carry out his first turnkey project in Zimnicea

The project consist of the extension and rehabilitation of the waste water treatment plant of this town

Eptisa, in consortium with Aqualia Infraestructuras SA, has been awarded a new services contract for the “Extension and rehabilitation of the waste water treatment plant within the Zimnicea agglomeration” in Romania. This project, with a 4.4 million Euro of investment and 36 months of duration, will benefit a population of 14.800 inhabitants.

The main objective of this project is the design and construction of a new waste water treatment plant in accordance with EU directives for protection of the environment, which will improve the water quality, the level of sludge management and will deliver affordable sewer services.

The consortium led by Eptisa will provide the services of technical, structural and architectural design and permits issue in the first phase. After the construction phase, that involves demolition of the old building and the construction of the new plant, Eptisa will provide supply of equipment, installation and start up. Moreover, will carry out the overall project management and will train the operational personnel on the management, operation and maintenance of the new plant for reaching optimum operation parameters.
