Eptisa realises the kick-off meeting of the new technical assistance contract for Result Oriented Monitoring in Turkey - Phase III

Eptisa will assist NIPAC to fulfil its extended monitoring responsibility in Turkey until 2021

The kick-off meeting of the new contract named “Technical Assistance for Result Oriented Monitoring in Turkey – Phase III” was realized with the participation of Eptisa and representatives from Directorate for EU Affairs and Central Finance and Contracts Unit on 28th of January 2019.

Under this contract, Eptisa is going to assist NIPAC (National IPA Coordinator) to fulfil its extended monitoring responsibility in Turkey out to the sectors eligible for the support of EU funds in IPA II (2014-2020). This will be carried out through ROM (Results Oriented Monitoring) missions, both for the on-going actions and activities, with a view to ensure the achievement of objectives at action and ex-post missions inherited from the IPA I (2007-2013) period.

This project aims to successfully realize the following tasks:

  • ROM missions to the on-going activities and actions under the sectors and sub-sectors concerned are conducted and also ex-post ROM missions to the already completed projects from the IPA I period are conducted and monitoring reports and related documents are produced according to the most recent formats defined.
  • Capacity of the relevant authorities is to be increased by organising trainings on ROM methodology.

With this project, Eptisa will provide a comprehensive blend of technical expertise and practical experience from a wide range of disciplines, effective operation of cross-cutting components inherent to project, together with the facilitation for backstopping services - essential for a successful implementation.
