Eptisa provides quality control services within the demolition and new construction of several facilities project at the Araka WWTP in Vitoria-Gasteiz

The contract includes the quality control of the materials used in the construction and the supervision of the civil works service testing

The company Aguas Municipales de Vitoria S.A.U. (AMVISA) has awarded Eptisa a new contract to carry out the quality control of the materials used in the construction and the supervision of the civil engineering works service testing during the demolition and new construction of the regulatory tank No. 1, warehouse and valve room at the Araka WWTP in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

The structure of the designed tank consists of a circular prestressed reinforced concrete wall, with an internal diameter of 61.80 m and a total height of 10.70 m.

As a cover of the tank, a slab formed by precast prestressed beams, on which prestressed hollowcore slabs and a top compression layer have been projected. It is supported on precast reinforced concrete pillars, arranged in a 6x6 m grid.
