Eptisa has finalized the R&D&I project "P@vement Check", which has been developed by the Pavements Department during three years.

P@vement Check is a pavement management system that facilitates efficient management of infrastructure from inspections carried out by Mobile Mapping technology and a prediction software of evolution models and investment strategies.

It is a portable recording device that allows high performance in data collection, which has an associated GIS environment and software for qualification of pavement condition, a predictive model of long-term behavior and a simulator of investment in conservation.

This tool will allow conservation schedule and comprehensive maintenance of pavements of multiple infrastructures, improving the management of economic resources and efficiency of mobility, which will result in a reduction of the risks of accidents and a reduction of emissions of polluting gases.

P@vement Check was funded by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade under the 2008-2011 National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation. Its project identification number TSI-100502-2013-10.

In the following video you will find more detailed information about the tool (in Spanish): https://youtu.be/VncR0-n1jTk.
