The companies Prospectiuni S.A., Eptisa Romania and Metroul S.A. are among the top companies that have won public consultancy contracts for projects in 2016, according to an analysis recently released by the Expert Forum Civic Association (EFOR). In this analysis, direct acquisitions and subsequent contracts in 2017 and 2018 were not included, due to the very poor data quality. "Even if we did not include all the data in the analysis, we consider that the resulting statistics are relevant to the research. The analysis includes data as exported from www.data.gov.ro, thus also taking into account the related error margin. There have been identified 4.641 tenderers’' Unique Registration Codes. Of these, the top 79 competitors won half of the funds. Moreover, 100 of these companies donated to a political party", is specified from the beginning of the analysis.

Thus, according to the research, in 2016 Prospectiuni S.A., owned by the Tender family, contracted consultancy services for public projects with a cumulated value of over 621 million lei, being the largest contractor of such services during the analyzed period. Adrem Invest, an energy services provider, and Eptisa Romania, a company owned by Eptisa Servicios de Ingeniería, S.L. based in Madrid, complete the "podium", contracting consultancy services in amount of 374.6 million lei and 360.9 million lei respectively.

In the top of consultancy companies that worked with the State and have activities in the field of construction are: Metroul SA (319.6 million lei), Romair Consulting (291.13 million lei), Romstrade (240.8 million lei), Tehnologica Radion (240.5 million lei), Aecom Ingenieria (167.94 million lei), DeltaACM’93 SA (127.4 million lei), Kranz Eurocenter (111.1 million lei), but also other companies such as Tehnodomus, Hochtief Construction AG or Rotary Constructions.
