The project aims to develop actions that improve the pedestrian access control system by preventing existing fraud; mitigate the effect of vandalism and deterioration of station equipment without perimeter fencing; and minimize the risk to pedestrians crossing at existing level crossings between platforms.

Likewise, it is part of its scope to determine the priority or order of action in the stations according to different aspects, among which are the following: demand for use; greater frequency of trains; social and economic factors; geographical location; coordination with other actions and deadlines for execution of the works.
