Launching of a training cycle – SBC Haiti

Eptisa has launched in October a training cycle on public management techniques, in the framework of the Programme of Budget Support to the Haitian State Building funded by the European Union.

December 19, 2016

The main goal of this training cycle, carried on in collaboration with the French National School of Administration, is to train some 60 public officers from the Haitian administration to the modern techniques of management, in order to create a pool of high level executives for the future, and to prepare them to conduct the administration reform. Moreover this activity represents an opportunity to strengthen the institutional capacities of the Haitian National School of Administration and Public Policies (ENAPP), offering it a relevant role in the training of high level executives.

This Programme composed by seven modules covering different cross-cutting issues (leadership, human resources management, project management, budget, planning, public policies and communication) and a pedagogical methodology, has been conceived as a result of a deep analyze of the needs in terms of training. To ensure its sustainability, it has been also formulated with an focus on trainers’ training.

The first two modules took place in October and November and had a great success among attendees. The next ones will be delivered during the first semester of 2017 and the Programme will be closed by a study trip to reward the top 20 candidates evaluated.
