Eptisa signs a consortium agreement with the Polytechnic University of Madrid

They will collaborate implementing EU ROM Programmes of cooperation projects

April 08 2011

Eptisa, as leader of the consortium, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) to implement the project awarded: "Service Contract for a Results-oriented Monitoring System of the Implementation of Projects and Programmes of External Co-operation for Lot 4 - Latin America and Cuba". The companies ECO and ISS collaborate in this consortium too.

With the aim of improving the quality of its co-operation projects and programmes, the European Union established the Results-Orientated Monitoring (ROM) system as a tool for providing appropriate and independent information with an adequate focus on implementing projects.

Its inclusive and participatory nature makes it an early warning system, working constructively to highlight both the strong and weak points of the projects in order to improve them through specific recommendations that contribute to their success.

These services, together with the services provided in "Lot 2 - ACP countries" programme, involve carrying out over 800 monitoring reports a year on the different regions it covers, with around 65 missions to different countries undertaken by a team of over 100 experts in the monitoring system.
