The "Moldova" Exhibition Centre in Iasi, Romania

As part of the project entitled "Management and Site Supervision for Works Financed under Phare 2005" , Eptisa supervised the construction works of the "Moldova" Exhibition Centre situated in the municipal district of Iasi for the Romanian Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism.
Since it was completed in November 2010, the Moldova Exhibition Centre has been hailed as one of the countrys most modern facilities. It consists of three enclosed pavilions with a total constructed surface area of 6,000 m2 for holding events, trade fairs and exhibitions and a further 2,000 m2available for outdoor exhibitions as well as auxiliary spaces such as administrative offices, access points, car parks, etc.
The purpose of this contract was to develop a series of regional business infrastructures, improve market access and provide the information, services and technologies necessary for increasing commercial competition and creating a favourable environment for local and foreign investments in the region and the country as a whole.
