Construction Supervision of the E-80 Highway, Serbia

The new road is part of the Pan-European Corridor X and consists of 60 kilometers of dual carriageway

As part of the programme to modernise the Pan-European Transport Corridor X, one of Europe’s principal communications arteries connecting Salzburg with Thessalonica and Istanbul, Eptisa is working in the construction supervision of several sections of the new E-80 highway through Serbia.

The total budget of the construction works is an estimated 600 million euro, which will be co-financed by the EIB, the EBRD and the World Bank.

Eptisa is supervising the works performed by several international contractors working in nine different subsections in the Dimitrovgrad – Prosek section, all the way to the border with Bulgaria. The new highway, which will become a crucial part of the main route from Central Europe to Turkey, consists of 60 kilometres and includes 43 bridges and viaducts, 4 tunnels, and 3 interchanges.
